- 1# Bacon
- 2#s Ground Beef
- 2 28oz cans Baked beans
- 2 15oz cans Garbonzo beans/ Chick peas
- 1 15oz can Kidney beans
- 1 can Pinto beans
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 1 cup Ketchup or BBQ sauce
- 4 Tbsp Vinegar (white or A/C)
- 1 tsp Salt
- Pepper to taste
Cook Bacon in an x-large skillet (I use Lodge skillet or dutch oven) and set aside. Reserve some of the grease for later use,
Cook ground beef in bacon grease til browned, add baked beans to pan
Drain and rinse other beans then add to pot.
cut bacon into small pieces mix in with meat and beans
Stir together sugar, Ketchup, Vinegar and salt and pepper, pour over meat mixture.
3 different options, 1. simmer for 25-30mins. 2. Bake in oven @ 350 for an hour or 3. put in a crock pot on low until ready to serve.
Serve with a slotted spoon with salad, rolls and fruit for a complete meal.

also this recipe is great if you don't like any of the beans mentioned trade them out for your favorites
Serves 15 so halve recipe if you don't want a large amount. leftovers of this are awesome.
